Heinrich Eden Aldrich (Ahlrichs) died at his home at his home on the corner of Hubbard and Second streets on Saturday, after a long illness caused by by asthma. He was born on April 24, 1840 at Hocksiel, in the Grand Duchy of Olernburg (Oldenburg) in Germany. He has lived in LeMars for the past few years and leaves a widow, three sons and a daughter. Two of his sons and the daughter reside in Plymouth county and another son Martin H. Aldrich (Ahlrichs) at Fairfax, S.D.

The funeral will be held today at the German Lutheran church on Eighth and Eagle streets.
