Note: Her maiden name is Rasmussen and her mother's maiden name is Faestersen.

Akron Pioneer Died Wednesday Had Lived There Seventy-Five Years

Mrs. Anna Adams, long, time resident of Akron community, died Wednesday in Akron hospital after a long illness.

Mrs. Adams was born November 10, 1860, at Horsens, Denmark. She came with her parents to the United States and Akron community at the age of 4. She was married to Barton Robert Adams in 1884; and in 1911 they moved to the town of Akron. She was a member of the Methodist church there.

Survivors include two sons, B. A. Adams and V. G. Adams, both of Akron; four daughters, Mrs. Edward Jans and Mrs. Siebens, both of Akron, Mrs. Eva A. Christy of Sioux City and Mrs. Floyd Rice of Sergeant Bluff; a half brother, Willis Christensen of Akron; three halt sisters, Florence Christensen of Akron, Mrs. Maggie Spittle of Chokio, Minn., and Mrs. Mary Ross of Bozeman, Mont.; 18 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and a great-great- grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p. m. Friday in the Akron Methodist church. Rev. A. A. Howell will officiate and burial will be ill Riverside cemetery.
