Mrs. Anna L. Kock
Mrs. Anna L. Kock who resided at 45 2nd Avenue Northwest, LeMars, passed away October 24, 1960. (Report of death in October 24 issue of the Globe Post.) She died at Sacred Heart hospital where she had been a patient 4 days.
Anna Louise Lubben was born April 16, 1890 in Plymouth county. She had been a lifelong resident of Plymouth county. Her marriage to Ulrich Kock took place at Elk Point, S. D. on May 20, 1919. Her parents were Marie Johanna Ahlfs and Harm Lubben
Funeral services were held today at St. John's American Lutheran church, LeMars. Rev. Robert Floy officiated and burial was in LeMars city cemetery under direction of the Mauer Funeral home. The family had awaited word from a son of the deceased John Kock serving in Germany but had not heard from him by Tuesday.
Survivors include her children; Gerhard Kock, Ireton; John, in armed services in Germany; Marie, Mrs. William Janssen, Wilmar Minn.; Margaret, Mrs. Bernard Pecks; Irene, Mrs. Geo. Lee, LeMars; and Clarence Kock, LeMars. There are 12 grandchildren; three brothers, John and Henry Lubben, LeMars and Gerd Lubben, Fergus Falls, Minn.; a sister, Mrs, Siebel harms, LeMars.
She was preceded in death her parents and her husband and a son Harm Kock in World War 2. She was a member of St. John's American Lutheran church, LeMars, the Ladies Society, the Women's Auxiliary and the Gold Star Mothers.
