Bert A. Port

Following a lingering sickness, Bert A. Port, 54 years old, died Sunday morning in a Sioux City hospital.

Mr. Port was born at Akron, September 5, 1877, and went to Sioux City in 1919 after he had spent most of his life farming. He and Miss Zelma Barr were married in 1899. Mrs. Port died nine years ago. He lived with his sons while in Sioux City.

Surviving Mr. Port are three daughters, Mrs. Ellen Byers, of Milton, N. D.; Mrs. Evelyn June Waddington, of Davenport , and Miss Zelma May Port, of Sioux City, and three sons, Vernon Clifford and Orville J., both of Sioux City, and Arow Alexander Port, of Des Moines. Also surviving the deceased man are three sisters, Mrs. H . J. Wintersteen, of Hartford, S. D.; Mrs. William Folan, of Plankinton, S. D., and Mrs. J . W. Tucker, of Sioux City, and three brothers, Frank Port, of Brunsville; Harry L. Port, of Westfield, and Charles Port, of Hartford, S. D.
