SUCCUMBS TO SHORT ILLNESS ALBERT H. JOHNSON WELL KNOWN HERE FOR YEARS

Word of the death of Albert H Johnson was received in Le Mars yesterday. His death was due to acute appendicitis and was very sudden.

Mr. Johnson's wife died on June 2, this year.

Albert Johnson was a pioneer resident of Plymouth county. His father was one of the first homesteaders in Elgin township.

Albert Johnson was engaged in farming for many years In Plymouth county and was engaged in raising thoroughbred hogs near Le Mars for several years. In later years he worked for the Kehrbert-Schenider company of this city. He was deeply religiously inclined and for the past year or two had been conducting a mission at Sheldon.

He leaves two daughters Mrs. O. H. Foster, of Springfield, S.D., and Mrs, Gerald Bauerly, of Lake Benton, Minn., and two brothers, Jos. Johnson, of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Andrew Johnson of Emmett, Neb. He was about 65 years of age.

The funeral arrangements have not been completed but the Interment will be made at Crathorne where his wife is buried.
