Obituary. Mrs. Allison Harnack.
Mrs. Allison (Clara A.) Harnack, 73, rural Remsen, died unexpectedly at her home Thursday.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Moeller funeral home, Remsen, with Rev. Merrill Bean of the East Unit Jehovah’s Witnesses church, Sioux City, officiating. Burial will be in the Remsen City cemetery.
Friends may call at Moeller’s funeral home after 3:30 p.m. Friday.
The former Clara Ohlendorf, she was born July 31, 1896, at Marcus, a daughter of the late Fred and Katherine (Kuhlman) Ohlendorf. She married Allison Harnack Jan. 4, 1923. They have lived on their present farm since they were married.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and seven brothers.
Survivors are her husband Allison of Remsen and a son, Vance Harnack of Remsen; two sisters, Mrs. Henry (Bertha) Lindeman of Stockton, Calif., and Mrs. John (Anna) Hohbach of Lodi, Calif., and three grandchildren. – Le Mars Daily Sentinel, June 26, 1970, page 5.
