Life’s End. MRS. GEORGE HANSEN, REMSEN RESIDENT, DIES; SERVICES SET FRIDAY.
Funeral services for Mrs. George C. Hansen, 81, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Christ Lutheran church in Remsen.
Rev. Alfred Christiansen will officiate. Burial will be in Remsen city cemetery under the direction of Moeller funeral home.
Mrs. Hansen did Tuesday at Sacred Heart hospital after a long illness. She was born March 3, 1885 in Illinois. The former Ida Dirks, she married George C. Hansen Sept 16, 1916, at Sioux City. She had lived in Remsen the last 50 years.
Survivors are the widower, a brother John Dirks of Sioux City and several nieces and nephews. – Le Mars Daily Sentinel, June 23, 1966.
