Former Remsen Man Died October 22 At Spokane, Washington.
Frank Hansen, formerly of Remsen, Iowa, died on October 22, 1945 at Spokane, Washington, where he had been in the hospital for the past several weeks.
Born and raised in the vicinity of Remsen, Mr. Hansen moved to Idaho about forty years ago where he has since made his home. In recent years he has been dividing his time between Orofino, Idaho and Long Beach, California. He is survived by two sisters and three brothers, Mrs. John Witt and William Hansen of Le Mars, Charles Hansen of Granville, Mrs. Hans Brugman of Windom, Minnesota and John Hansen of Lewiston, Idaho, and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at St. Paul’s Evangelical Church at Remsen, Iowa, on Sunday, October 28, at 2 p.m. – Le Mars Semi-Weekly Sentinel, Oct. 30, 1945, page 1.
