Life’s End. MRS. JOHN HAACK FUNERAL THURDAY AT REMSEN CHURCH.
Funeral services for Mrs. John Haack, 77, lifelong Remsen resident who died Sunday at Sacred Heart hospital after a brief illness, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran church at Remsen.
Rev. Paul Wuebben will officiate. Burial will in Remsen cemetery under the direction of the Moeller funeral home.
Mrs. Haack, the former Anna Raveling, was born Sept. 11, 1887, at Remsen. She was married to John Haack on Feb. 10, 1910, at Remsen.
Survivors are three sons, Roy of Le mars, Raymond of Newport Beach, Calif., and Donald of Dallas, Ore., six brothers, Gerhard Raveling of Melvin; Sievert Raveling of Sioux City, and John and Will Raveling of Le Mars; Talk Raveling of Brutten, Minn.; one sister, Minnie Noonan of Hollywood, Calif.; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. – Le Mars Daily Sentinel, June 29, 1965, page 3.
