Robert Crow, 55, Merrill, died Tuesday at the Akron hospital after an extended illness. Funeral services were held Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the Wesley United Methodist Church, Akron, with Rev. Clair O'Dell officiating. Burial was in the Riverside cemetery under the direction of the Schroeder funeral home, Akron. Pall bearers were: Merlyn Miller, Robert Miller, Willis Crow, Wayne Miller, Dallas Crow and Elmer Meske.

Mr. Crow was born December 19,1915 at Elk Point, S.D. He married Ruth Dunham March 12, 1938, at Elk Point He was a lifelong area resident, farmer and farm worker. Mr. Crow was a member of the Adaville Evangelical United Brotherhood Church.

Survivors are his wife; four daughters, Mrs. Dale Holtz and Mrs. Roberta Willett, both of Merrill, Mrs. Alan Perrill of Patagonia, Ariz., and Mrs. William Gallas of Le Mars; three sons, Charles of Odebolt, Richard of Shreveport, La., Dennis in Vietnam; three brothers, Wesley of Chatsworth, Iowa, Roger of Moundsville.W. Va., Frank of Glendale, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Iva Liston of North Sioux City and six grandchildren.
