Funeral services for Mrs. Clarence McMahon, age 64, of Sioux City were held Monday at 10 a.m. at Grace Methodist Church. The Rev. Merton B. Green officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery at Akron.

Pallbearers were Dan Schultz, Dernell Swift, David Swift, James Diegnan, John Knight and Everett Pyzel.

Mrs. McMahon died unexpectedly last Thursday at her home. The former Bessie O. Bennett, she was born February 20, 1906, at Hawarden. She lived on a farm southeast of Hawarden until 1920 when she moved to Akron. She was married to Clarence J. McMahon in June 1931 at Elk Point, S. Dak..

The couple moved to Sioux City in 1947 where Mrs. McMahon worked at the Ben Franklin store for eight years. She also worked at the Martin's, Fantle's and Younkers stores. Mrs. McMahon was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church.

Survivors are her husband; two sons, Philip J, of Sioux City and Vincent F. of St. Peter, Minn.; a daughter, Sandra McMahon of Odessa, Tex.; her father, Frank Bennett of Hawarden; a brother, Clarence of Hawarden; two sisters, Mrs. Willie (Gladys) Huebner of Akron and Mrs. Vernon (Daisy) Sayles of Whittier, Calif. and seven grandchildren.
