Funeral services for Samuel Edward Patterson, age 90, of Sioux City were held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 13, at the Cathedral of the Epiphany, the Rt. Rev. Msgr. William B. Bauer officiated.

Burial was in the Le Mars Memorial Cemetery. Pall bearers were: Sid Mosher, Al Sedlacek, Vincent Mann and Hugh Maxwell.

Mr. Patterson died Tuesday, March 10 at a Sioux City hospital after a long illness.

Mr. Patterson and family were at one time, residents of Akron.
