GARFIELD. Special Correspondence. Word was received here of the death of David Moritz of Henry township. He died Tuesday, August 1st, of hemorrhage of the brain. – Le Mars Semi-Weekly Sentinel, August 8, 1911, page 2.

Note: David’s wife was Mentje (Fokken) Moritz. Both are buried in the Remsen City Cemetery.
