Friederich Jacob Gonner, died in Worthington, Minn., Wednesday and his body was laid to rest in the Remsen cemetery on Sunday. Mr. Gonner died in the Worthington hospital after nine days illness from pneumonia. Funeral services were conducted at Worthington by Rev. Paul Koch and a service was held at the graveside here. The deceased is survived by his wife. Mr. Gonner was a farm hand in Remsen vicinity many years ago. – Le Mars Semi-Weekly Sentinel, March 11, 1941, Page 2.
