Mrs. Elvin Held has received news of the death of her aunt, Mrs. Clara Van Dusen, 71, of Grantsburg, Wis., who died February 4.
The deceased was born at Merrrill, Iowa, July 7, 1878. She married Cyrus Harrison in 1898 and the couple had two children, Mrs. Viola Somers of Backus, Minn., and Ceceila Harrison who died in infancy.
In March, 1907, she married Alfred Van Dusen, and one daughter was born to this union, Mrs. Anna Forsberg, of Grantsburg.
In December, 1920 the family left Iowa and moved to a farm near St. Croix Falls and in 1936 located at Grantsburg.
In 1943 Mrs. Van Dusen suffered a fractured hip, after which she was an invalid until the time of her death.
She is survived by her husband; two daughters; three sisters, Mrs. Emma Stillwell, Lawton, Iowa, Mrs. Anna Sullivan, Minneapolis, Minn., and Miss Minnie Heinrich, Sioux City; two brothers, George Heinrich, LaCrosse and Henry
Heinrich of Merrill; six grandchildren and three
great grandchildren.Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at Grantsburg and burial was in the cemetery at that city.
