Former neighbors and friends attended the funeral services for Martin Flannery at Sioux City Thursday morning at 9 o'clock at the Cathedral of Epiphany. Mr. Flannery was struck by a car Tuesday night sustaining injuries from which he died three hours later. The accident victim was born June 5, 1872, in Toronto, Canada.
He was a resident of this township for many years moving to Sioux City about 10 years ago. Surviving are a brother, William Flannery, in Sioux City, and Mrs. William Ernst of Liberty Township. Pall bearers were Alex Beaulieu, Ed Beaulieu, Norris Ernst, George Berger, Gust Swanson, and Thomas Vondrak.
