Area Deaths
MRS. CHESTER BRITTON OF ALTON DEAD; RITES SET TUESDAY

Funeral services for Mrs. Chester Britton, 71, who died Sunday at her home at Alton, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Mauer funeral home in LeMars.

Rev. John Maze will officiate. Burial will be in the LeMars Memorial cemetery.

Mrs. Britton, the former Viola M. Osborne, was born May 22, 1894, at Seney. She was married to Chester Britton Jan. 25, 1915 at Seney. He died in 1954.

Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. LeRoy (Ethel) Schneider of Paullina, and Mrs. William (Erlynne) Frericks (sic--Frerichs) or Alton; a son, Earl Britton of LeMars; a sister, Mrs. J. M. Kunath of LeMars; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
