OBITUARY
MRS. MARY M. REEVES

Mary M. Osborne was born on November 26, 1857 at Brenchly (sic--Brenchley), Kent county, England, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Osborne. She was baptized in the church of England.

At the age of 13 she came with her parents to America and lived at LeMars, Iowa. In 1875 she was married to George W. Reeves, and to this union nine children were born, three having died in infancy. Mr. Reeves preceded her in death nine years ago.

Death came to Mrs. Reeves on March 28, 1930 (error--1940), at the age of 82 years, four months and two days and surviving her are three sons and three daughters. They are John, Frank, Lloyd, and Edna Reeves of Mission Hill, (Maude) Mrs. Henry Hanson of Gayville, (Ruby) Mrs. James Thompson of Irene. Thirteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren, three brothers and one sister also survive. George and Stephen Osborne of LeMars, Iowa, and Thomas Osborne of Mission Hill are the brothers and Mrs. Hannah Clayton (sic--Claydon) of Los Angeles, California, is the sister.

Funeral services were conducted on Sunday afternoon from the Mission Hill Congregational church, the Rev. I. Daniels officiating. Burial was in the Mission Hill cemetery.

Pallbearers were Walter Davis, George Knodel, Art McKeachie, John McManus, Wm. Lilley and Ben VanGerpen.
