Mrs. Ida Pattison
Mrs. Ida Brownlee Pattison, formerly of Sioux City and Merrill, passed away at the Brentwood Nursing Home, LeMars, on Wednesday, October 2,[1963] at the age of 87. She had been in failing health. Deceased was a resident at Brentwood since January, 1963.
She was born April 9, 1876, at Jackson County, Iowa, the daughter of Jane and Robert Brownlee. On May 29, 1895, she was united in marriage to Robert Jamison Pattison at Ida County, Iowa. They resided several years at Marcus, Kingsley and Merrill before moving to Sioux City in 1947.
Deceased was a homemaker.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 5, at 2:00 p.m. at the Mauer Funeral Home in LeMars with burial in the Marcus cemetery. Rev. Gale Hawhee of Merrill, will officiate at last rites.
Mrs. Pattison was a member of the Marcus O.E.S. for fifty years and a faithful member of the Merrill Methodist Church.
She was preceeded in death by her parents, her husband in 1946, a daughter, Mrs. Cecil Ellis and eight brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her other children, Mrs. Roy (Vera) Fry of Merrill; Mrs. Albert (Agnes) Bigler of Selma, California; and Vernon Pattison of Battle Creek Michigan. Also surviving are five grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Nellie Lake, Orlando, Florida, and a brother, Robert Brownlee, of Regina, Canada.

LeMars, Ia – Special: Funeral services for Mrs. Robert J. Pattison, 87, a Sioux City resident since 1947 who died Wednesday at a nursing home here after a long illness, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Mauer funeral home here.
Rev. Gale Hawhee, pastor of the Methodist church of Merrill, Ia., where she was a member, will officiate. Burial will be in the Amherst cemetery at Marcus, Ia.
Mrs. Pattison, the former Ida B. Brownlee, was born April 9, 1876, in Jackson county, Ia. She lived at Marcus, Kingsley, Ia., and Merrill before moving to Sioux City.
She was married on May 29, 1895 in Ida county, Ia.
She was a 50-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star at Marcus.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Roy Fry of Merrill and Mrs. Albert Bigler of Selma, Cal.; a son, Vernon of Battle Creek, Mich.; a sister, a brother, five grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
