John Kolker, 74, lifelong Plymouth county resident, was dead on arrival Monday (Dec. 5, 1977) at Floyd Valley hospital in Le Mars after suffering an apparent heart attack.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph's Catholic church, Le Mars. Rev. Francis Staber will officiate and burial will be in Calvary cemetery under direction of the Luedtke funeral home.

The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Kolker was born April 24, 1903, Stanton township, Plymouth county, to Bernard H. and Anna Kobberman Kolker. He farmed in America township until his retirement in 1969. He moved to Le Mars at that time.

Mr. Kolker was a member of St. Joseph Catholic church and the Holy Name society of that church.

Survivors are a brother Clem and two sisters, Katherine Kolker and
Rosalinda Kolker.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Emma.
