FORMER RESIDENT DIED AT OMAHA
Howard Marx Is Victim of Pneumonia at Omaha Hospital
Howard E. Marx, until three months ago federal investigator for the alcohol tax unit in the treasury department at New York City, died at an Omaha hospital Tuesday night from pneumonia. He resigned to return to his home in Omaha because of poor health.
His widow and his mother survive. Funeral services will be held Friday morning at Omaha, the body arriving here at 12:35 p. m. and burial will be made at Le Mars in St. James cemetery. Rev. L. J. Cooper will officiate. Wilt-gen's will have charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Marx was born on a farm north of LeMars and lived here before going to Sioux City. He lived in Sioux City for 10 years. A brother, Marion, died four years ago. Mr. Marx was about 32 years old.
