Northwest Iowa Pioneer Passes Away

Mrs. Adelaide Hatfield, mother of Mrs. A.L. Baker, died at the home of her son, Wm. Hatfield,
at Correctionville, Iowa, Wednesday, July 17, at the age of 83 years.

The deceased was a pioneer resident of Woodbury County and had many friends. She made her home, part of the time, with Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Baker, at Hinton, until three weeks prior to her death, when she went to Correctionville, to live with her son, Wm. Hatfield.

Funeral services were held from the Methodist Church at Correctionville, last Friday and the remains were laid to rest in the cemetary at that place.
