HARRY GAMAGE INFANT DIES AT ST. JOSEPH, MO.
The infant son, Thomas Franklin, of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Gamage Jr., St. Joseph, Mo., died 10 hours after birth Monday at a St. Joseph, Mo., hospital.
Graveside rites were at 1:15p.m. Wednesday at Le Mars Calvary cemetery under the direction of the Luedtke funeral home. Rev. Joseph Kielbasa of St. Joseph Catholic church, Struble, officiated.
Survivors, besides the parents, are two brothers, James Philip and Michael Courtney; the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Phil Groetken, Le Mars, and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Gamage Sr., Wakonda, S.D.; and the maternal great - grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. H. F. Groetken, Struble, and Mr. and Mrs. Herman Harms, Brunsville.
Mrs. Gamage Jr. is the former Phyllis Groetken, Struble.
The Mass of the Angels for the infant will be said the first week in April at the church in Struble when the parents of the baby expect to be here to at tend the 50th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Harms.
