Merrill Resident Claimed By Death J. C. Miller Dies After Long Illness
James Clarence Miller, a resident of Merrill for many years, passed away Monday morning, August 12, following a lingering illness from an internal malady.
James Clarence Miller was born in Vinton, Iowa, on September 1, 1880, and died on August 12, 1940, aged 59 years, 11 months, and 12 days. He was married to Alice Wayve A. Harker on September 7, 1920, and to this union were born three children. He was a member of the Methodist church of Merrill. He was a devoted husband and father and will be greatly missed by the family and friends.
He bore his suffering patiently and never complained
He leaves to mourn his death, his wife, two sons, James Clarence, and Armand Geddes; one daughter, Alice, relatives, and friends.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon from the Barnett funeral home. Burial was in the
Merrill Cemetery.
