Mowbray H. Nason, 93, of Greer, S. D., a former Sioux City resident died Jan. 4.1996, in Greer.
Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Larkin Northside Funeral Home in Sioux City with the Rev. Dr. Allen D. Call of First United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Nason was born Jan. 19, 1902, in Plymouth County, the son of William Edward and Adaline Laberge Nason. He lived most of his life in Sioux City. He married Ethel Mulheron Sept. 22, 1926. She died in 1979. He was employed by the Iowa Public School System for 40 years. He was head custodian at Central High School when he retired at age 68. He moved to Greer in 1984 to be closer to his famiy.
Mr. Nason was a former member of the First United Methodist church. He was a member of Landmark Masonic Lodge 103 AF & AM.
Survivors include three sons and their wives, Douglas and Barbara, Leon and Barbara, all of Greer, and Kenneth and Patti of Kamapolis, N.C.; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by two grandsons.
