WALTER NASON

Following a brief sickness, Walter Mason, 60 years old, died Friday on his farm home near Westfield, Ia.

Mr. Nason was born in 1874 in England and came to the United States with his parents when he was 8 months old. Several years later he moved to a farm near Westfield where he lived until his death.

Surviving Mr. Nason are seven brothers; Albert, John, Harry and George, all of Westfield, Edward of Jefferson, William of Sioux Falls and Joseph of Elk Point and a sister, Annie Nason, of Westfield.

The body is at Anderson’s funeral home pending the completion of funeral arrangements.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock Monday afternoon in Anderson’s funeral chapel for Walter Nason, 60, who died Friday on his farm near Westfield, Ia. Rev. James J Davies, pastor of Whitfield Methodist church, will officiate. Burial will be in Logan Park cemetery.

WESTFIELD FARMER IS CALLED

Walter Nason, a well known farmer of Western Plymouth county, died at his house south of Westfield, Ia., Friday, September 14, 1934, after a brief illness, aged 60 years.

Born in England in 1874, Mr. Nason was brought to the United States by his parents when eight months old. Several years later the family moved to a farm near Westfield and he has lived thee since.

Surviving are seven brothers, Albert, John, Harry and George, all of Westfield; Edward, of Jefferson, S. D.; William, of Sioux Falls, S. D., and a sister, Annie Nason, of Westfield.

Funeral services were held Monday at 2 p.m., in Anderson’s funeral chapel in Sioux City, with Rev. James J. Davies officiating. Interment was in Logan Park cemetery, Sioux City.
