Arnold E. Brundeen

Arnold Evert Brundeen, 87, of Mead, Oklahoma, died Friday, February 12, 1999, in Southern Point in Colbert, Oklahoma.

Graveside services were held Monday, February 15, 1999, at Mead Cemetery. The Reverend Wendall Brown officiated. Brown’s Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Brundeen was born April 13, 1911, in Akron, Iowa, the son of Jonas and Marie (Anderson) Brundeen.

He married Fayetta Grant of June 21, 1933. She died November 3, 1972. He was a Standard Oil Dealer in Akron before moving to Cherokee, Iowa, where he ran the Standard Oil Bulk Station. He moved to Mead Oklahoma in 1973. He married Edith Curry on January 6, 1979. She died on January 31, 1999.

Survivors include one son, Everett Brundeen, of Greenwood, Ark., one step-son, Harry Jone Reed, of Mead, Oklahoma; one step-daughter, Wanda Fulks, of Kemp, Texas; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
