Kermit M. Fulton, 63, a longtime Union township farmer, died at his home Friday (Sept. 20, 1974) after a long illness.

Funeral services were held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the Mauer funeral chapel with Rev. Edmond Tratebas officiating. Burial was in Union township cemetery near Kingsley.

Mr. Fulton was born Nov. 4, 1910, in Woodbury County the son of the late Frank and Lydia Mahon Fulton. He came to Plymouth County in 1920 and since lived here as a grain and livestock farmer. He had lived on the same farm for the last 54 years. His marriage to Viola De Raad took place on Jan. 1, 1937, at Kingsley. Mr. Fulton was active in 4-H work for many years.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.

Survivors are his wife of route 1, Le Mars; two sons, Robert and Donald both of Le Mars; three daughters, Mrs. Charles (Joan) Verts, Iowa City; Mrs. John (Janice) Howd, Sioux Falls; and Jean of Cedar Rapids; four grandchildren. Also, a brother. Glenn (Bud) Fulton, Cleghorn; three sisters, Mrs. Gladys Meyers, Marshalltown; Mrs. Alice Gardner, Chicago, and Mrs. Betty Pashby, Hawaii.
