Mrs. John Nussbaum. 61, longtime Plymouth and Sioux county resident, died Thursday at a Cherokee hospital after a year's illness. She had been hospitalized for two months.

Susan Dorothy Weber was born May 24. 1901 in Plymouth County. She married John Nussbaum at Remsen on Sept. 23. 1920.

The couple resided in this county until 1930 when they moved to Sioux county residing there for 31 years. They retired and moved to Remsen a year and a half ago. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran church, Remsen.

Surviving is the widower, John, a son and daughter, Milton J. of Alton and Mrs. William H. (Rosella) Ludwigs of Le Mars; five grandchildren, two brothers, Ernest Weber of Le Mars and Fred Weber of Alexandria, South Dakota.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Lorraine; a sister, Rose and four brothers, Albert, John, Frank, and Rueben.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, at Maurer’s Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Weubben of Remsen officiating. Burial will be in the city cemetery.
