Leonard W. Buck, a former Akron resident, died in a Sioux City hospital Friday, March 15, 1935, aged 86 years, 3 months and 13 days. Born in Evansville, Ind., December 2, 1848, he came to Sioux City when he was 15 years of age, later moving to Akron.

Sixteen years ago he returned to Sioux City. His wife, died there about a year ago.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. W.R. Farrin, and one son, L.A. Buck, both of Sioux City; a brother, Chris Buck, of McCook Lake, S.D.; eleven grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Sunday in Sioux City, conducted by Rev. P.M. Fowler, of Knox Presbyterian church. The remains were brought to Akron for burial beside his wife in Riverside cemetery.
