Mrs. Jesse Weidenfeller, 67, longtime Le Mars resident, died Friday (Oct. 25, 1974) at Sioux City St. Vincent hospital. She had entered the hospital in the early part of September for cancer treatment.

Jesse Davis was born on March 11, 1908, in Minnesota. After her marriage to (Col.) F. L. Geitz, she and her husband operated the Geitz Auction Co. here for many years. He preceded her in death.

She later married Leo Weidenfeller, who also preceded her in death.

A niece and a nephew, Mr. and Mrs. John Paju, Norfolk, Nob., said the Le Mars woman willed her body to University of Iowa medical school at University hospitals, Iowa City.

No immediate services are planned.

Mrs. Weidenfeller had been employed in late years at the office of Dr. Houston Cunningham, dentist. She previously operated a taxi service here.

Folks will remember her lead role in a recent Le Mars Community theater production, " I Never Sang For My Father."

Survivors are a sister, Ethel Fowler Portland, Ore.; two brothers, Keith and Earl Davis; also, a sister-in-law in Waterloo and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by parents and two sisters, Leila Davis Pederson Paju, and Laurel Post.
