OBITUARY
Mrs. John N. Raish died, at the family home in Long Beach, Calf, September 17, 1913, of pareses, aged 76 years, 1 month and 13 days. The remains arrived in Akron, the old, home, last Saturday, accompanied by her husband, Mr. Raish. Funeral services were conducted in the Akron; M. E. church Saturday afternoon by Rev. R. L. Stuart. The local W.R.C. of which, she was a member; attended the services in a body and the pallbearers were old soldiers. Interment was made in Riverside cemetery. The funeral was directed by, W.H. Christy.

Deceased was born at Lebanon, Ohio, August 4, 1837, and her maiden name, was Hayner. She married a Mr. Bolmer, who died during service in the civil war. She afterward married, Milo R. Tuttle and they resided in Chicago, They came to Akron, in 1878 and Mr. Tuttle was a pioneer furniture dealer, in partnership with A.G. Johnson, Mr. Tuttle died here in 1896. Mrs. Tuttle and J.N. Raish were united in marriage June 25, 1898. They resided in Akron until three years ago, when they moved to Long Beach, California, which has since been their home.

Besides the sorrowing husband, she is survived by a son, Frank Bolmer, of Long Beach. Mrs. Raish was a consistent member of the M.E Church for over thirty years. Her many acts of kindness and helpfulness during a long residence here will be cherished in the memory of many warm friends.
