Wilma Irma Laverna Willer, 73, of Akron, died July 19, 1993, at the Akron Care Center.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 22 at Immanuel Lutheran church in Akron. Pastor William Flemr will officiate.
Jon Harris, soloist will sing "Amazing Grace", and "Borning Cry", accompanied by Carol Harris organist.
Burial will follow in Riverside cemetery in Akron, under direction of the Schroeder Funeral Home in Akron.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 21. A prayer service at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Glenda Salmon soloist will sing "How Great Thou Art", accompanied by Carol Harris pianist.
Pallbearers are Don Tucker, Allan Hansen, Glen Lawrencesen, Daryl Klemme, Rollin Willer and Charles Willer.
Mrs. Willer, was born Nov. 18, 1919 at Akron, Iowa to Harry and Anna Schmidt Klemme. She was a lifelong resident of Akron and attended Akron school. She married Ted Willer Oct. 10, 1945, at Nashua< Iowa. The couple farmed in the Akron area for many years.
She was longtime 4-H leader in Plymouth county and a Sunday school teacher at her church. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran church in Akron, and was a member of Immanuel Lutheran church in Akron, and was a member of the ALCW for many years. She served as a Bible school superintendent for several years. She served on the Plymouth county youth committee for a number of years. She loved flowers and crafts.
Survivors include her husband, Ted of Akron; three daughters, Mrs. Allen (Lynn) Norsiden of Sioux City, Mrs. Lance (Jean) Hedquist of South Sioux City, Neb., and Mrs. Mark (Kaye) Held of Hinton; seven grandchildren; one sister; two brothers, Embert Klemme of Akron and Vernon Klemme of Hemet, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Lenora Hansen Dirks.
