Young Akron Child Is Taken By Death

Karen Small Had Been Sick With Pneumonia Only Two Days

Karen Joleen Small, the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Avery Small, was born April 8, 1938, and passed away Saturday, January 18, 1941, the Akron Register reports. Although little Karen was a delicate child, she had only sick two days with pneumonia which was the cause of her passing,

Her life had not been long, but her immediate family has loving memories of her as a very good-natured child, always smiling, and seldom cried: yet the sweetest of rose-buds have to fade and God thought it best to take this little one home.

Karen is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Avery Small; three sisters and ten brothers; two grandmothers, Mrs. Sadie Stinton of Akron and Mrs. Edna Kaufman of Restil, Wash. And several aunts and uncles and cousins.
