From the LeMars Sentinel, Tuesday, May 10, 1921, Page 1, Column 7:

Mrs. Louisa Green died on Saturday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Albro, in Elgin township. Death was due to a complication of diseases and old age. She was 79 years of age.

Louisa Jacbs (sic--Jacobs) was born on April 21, 1842, in Indiana and moved from there with her parents to Illinois where she was married on June 10, 1862, to James Green. They came to LeMars about forty years ago. Mr. Green died October 14, 1907. Mrs. Green is survived by two grandsons, Wesley Green, of Sioux City and Lora Wesley (error--Lora Green), of Spencer. The funeral services were held yesterday morning at the Beely undertaking rooms. Rev. Wallace, of Seney, conducted the funeral and the interment was made in the city cemetery.
