Death of Miss Koehn.
Miss Elizabeth Koehn, died at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Brann (sic Braun) on Tuesday morning of consumption at the age of twenty-seven years. The funeral was held on Thursday morning at St. Joseph's church. Miss Koehn is the third in the family to die of consumption, a brother having died about six years ago and a sister about eight months ago. She was taken sick about three years ago and made a strong effort to shake off the grim disease, going to Colorado and other places, but without avail. She was born in LeMars in 1878 and lived the early part of her life here but late years had made her home at other places. She leaves a mother, a step father, a half brother and three sisters. Peter Braun, a brother, was summoned home from Wakefield, Neb., and arrived a few hours before her death. Another sister lives in Denver.
