Miss Emma Dotkins was born in Berkway, Hertfordshire, England, April 20, 1834, where she grew to womanhood. In December 1853 was united in marriage to Joseph Warren. To this union was born twelve children three of whom died in England. Mrs. Warren after a long illness, died November 23, 1906, at the Jonas Warren home south of Westfield. In the 1880 Mr. and Mrs. Warren to the United States going direct to Le Mars where they stayed several years but lived near Westfield for twenty-six years.

Nine children and an aged husband survive the mother and wife, five boys and two daughters were with her at the time of her death. She also leaves forty-nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Congregational church, Rev. Brenntnell preaching the sermon. A large number of people followed the remains to Akron, where they were interred.
