Note: Her mother's maiden name was Batie. She is buried in Le Mars Memorial Cemetery.

MRS. CHESTER MCDOUGALL SUCCUMBS TO PNEUMONIA

WAS ON A VISIT TO PARENTS

The Deceased Was Formerly Miss Maud Collins and was a Graduate of the LeMars High School--Funeral to be Held Today.

Word was received yesterday in LeMars of the death of Mrs. Chester McDougall, wife of Chester McDougall, of Struble. Her death ocurred after a few days illness from pneumonia at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Collins, at Ashton, where she had gone a week or two ago to visit her mother and assist during an auction sale.

Mrs. McDougall was before her marriage Miss Maude Collins. She attended high school in LeMars and was a graduate of the class of 1917. She was united in marriage on June 1, 1917, with Chester McDougall and they lived on one of the McDougall farms. She and her husband were making plans to move onto a farm in America township, recently bought by Mr. Collins, next month.

Mrs. Collins (actually Mrs. McDougall) was twenty-two years of age. She leaves to mourn her death her husband, her parents, and one sister, Mildred, and a large number of friends and relatives among whom she was very popular.

Funeral services will be held at Ashton today and the remains brought here for interment.
