Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at the Methodist church in Merrill for Ralph Gill, well known farmer in Plymouth township for many years.Mr. Gill died Tuesday morning, February 20, after a lingering illness.
Ralph Gill was born in Jo Davies county, Illinois, June 27, 1866, and lived there before coming to this county in 1885. For many years he farmed near Merrill and upon retiring moved to Merrill, where he has since resided.
Surviving are two sons, Wayne, of Merrill and Chester, of Sioux City. His wife preceded him in death October 3, 1932.

Friends in this community attended the funeral services of Ralph Gill at Merrill on Thursday. Rev. W. E. Smith, of the Plymouth church, officiated and burial was in the Plymouth cemetery.
