Friday, September 21, 1945Hinton Woman Passed Away in Sioux City Hospital Last Tuesday
Mrs. Leona Berghuis of Hinton died Tuesday in a Sioux City hospital after a six months illness.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the First Methodist church at Hinton. Burial will be in Graceland Park cemetery. The body was taken to Sioux Center.
Mrs. Berghuis was born July 9,1903, in Sioux City, and was graduated from Central high school there. She was a member of the First Methodist church of Hinton.
Survivors are the widower, A. P. Berghuis, and two daughters, Bernice and Bonnie, both of Hinton, and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ross Lumpkin of Sioux City.
