PERRY PIONEER PASSES AWAY
NICHOLAS DORSEY LIVED ON SAME FARM FOR SIXTY-THREE YEARS.
Last rites for Nicholas Dorsey, a pioneer of Plymouth township (sic-Perry township), were held at his home Tuesday and interment made in the Logan Park cemetery in Sioux City.

Mr. Dorsey was 86 years of age and had lived on the same farm for sixty-three years.

Nicholas Dorsey was born in County Kildare, Ireland, on January 15, 1845, and his parents emigrated to Canada when he was a child of five years. He lived in Canada during his youth and when twenty-five years of age came to northwestern Iowa and homesteaded when land was a gift. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Dorsey, and two sons (sic-adopted sons), Albert Dorsey and N. S. (sic-Sylvester) Dorsey, living in Perry township.
