Aurel V. Collett

MCPHERSON—Aurel V. Collett, 72, died April 3, 1990, at Halstead Hospital, Halstead.

She was born Oct. 7, 1990, at Halstead Hospital, Halstead.

She was born Oct. 7, 1917, at LeMars, Iowa, the daughter of Arthur J. Parks and Bessie Phelps. A resident of McPherson for four years, she was a retired Monsanto Corp. employee, St. Louis. She was attended the Free Methodist Church, McPherson. On Sept. 15, 1942, she married Andrew Collett Jr., at McPherson. He died April 1, 1945.

Survivors include; a brother, Ronald Parks, Prescott, Ariz.; two sisters, Pauline Dempster, Le Mars, Iowa; and Charlotte Lions (actually Lyons) Boone, Iowa.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Ball and Sons Funeral Home. Burial will be in the McPherson Cemetery, McPherson.

Memorials may be sent to the Free Methodist Church in care of the funeral home.
