Roy G. Cassen, 82, of Akron died Wednesday at Hawarden hospital of long illness.

Services were at 10 a.m. Friday in the Schroeder Funeral Home at Akron. The Rev. Dean Orris officiated, Burial was in Logan Park Cemetery in Sioux City.

Mr. Cassen was born Jan. 3, 1895, at Milnerville. He owned his own business in Akron. He married Bernice McReynolds near Westfield. She died in 1973.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. John (Patricia) Dick of Cottage Grove, Minn. and two grandchildren.
