Note his mother's maiden name is Hillrichs and his wife's maiden name is Willer.

Graveside services for Raymond Henry Barinsky,94, of Branson will be held at 3 p.m. Nov. 8, 2013, at New Hope Cemetery, in Omaha, Ark., with Pastor Freddy Blevins officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home, in Branson.

He died Oct. 28, 2013, at Cox Medical Center Branson.

Raymond was born Nov. 23, 1918, in Le Mars, Iowa, son of William and Anna Barinsky. He served in the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II. He was a farmer and also worked for Flexsteel in Harrison, Ark., manufacturing furniture. He had lived in Branson about seven years, coming from Omaha, Ark.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Lowell Barinsky; and sister Gladys Eden.

Survivors include his wife, Frances Barinsky; sons James and Gary Barinsky; daughters Beverly Checkoway, Marlene Stacy and Janet Ruth; sisters Eileen Onken and Lorraine Hamilton; 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.

Memorials may be made to the Mt. Vernon Veterans Home Assistance League, 1600 S. Hickory, Mt. Vernon, MO 65712 or the charity of the donor’s choice.
