Mrs. Dennis R. Dumphy

Mrs. Dennis R. Dumphy, 79, 4914 Morningside Ave. died Wednesday at a Sioux City hospital after a short illness.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Msgr. Frank J. Brady will officiate. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery. The Rosary will be recited by the parish at 7 p.m. and by the Catholic Daughters of America at 7:30 p.m. today at the Larking Morningside Funeral Home.

Mrs. Dumphy, the former Theresa Doyle, was born Dec. 16, 1899, in Westfield, Iowa. She worked for J.C. Penney Co. for several years.

She married Dennis R. Dumphy Feb. 15, 1939, in Sioux City. He died in 1964.

She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church and the Catholic Daughters of America.

Survivors include a niece, Mrs. Mary C. Coury of Fremont, Neb. and a nephew, Robert Maynard of Sioux City.
