The funeral services of Mrs. Pat Gaunt (sic-Gant) who died at her home south of town at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 14, after a brief illness were held on Tuesday forenoon at St. Patrick’s church at Akron, Father Sullivan officiating. The services was largely attended by the friends and neighbors of the deceased. Interment was in the Catholic cemetery at Akron. Mrs. Gant leaves a husband and ten children, the oldest being fifteen years of age and the youngest fourteen months old. Although the mother of this large family, Mrs. Gant was still a young woman being at the time of her death thirty three years, five months, and eleven days. She was formerly Miss Louise Beaulieu, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Beaulieu who reside in Westfield. She also leaves two brothers and four sisters all of whom reside at a distance with the exception of Miss Leona who lives with her parents here. The sorrowing families have the heartfelt sympathy of the community in their great affliction.
Peter Beaulieu returned to his home in Nebraska having been called here by the death of his sister, Mrs. Gaunt (sic-Gant).
