MRS. ED BUSS DIES AT HOSPITAL
RITES PLANNED FRIDAY

Mrs. Ed (Maude) Buss, 74, died Tuesday [Nov. 8, 1966] at Sacred Heart hospital after a six week stay at the hospital. She had been in ill health for two years.

Maude Lillian Lancaster was born July 23, 1892, near Seney, the daughter of Edwin and Alice (Alderson) Lancaster. She was a lifelong Plymouth County resident.

Her marriage to Edward D. Buss took place Dec. 31, 1914, at Seney. The couple celebrated their golden wedding anniversary two years ago.

Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Calvary EUB church in LeMars. Rev. G.O. Thompson will officiate and burial will be in LeMars Memorial cemetery under direction of the Mauer funeral home.

The family suggests memorials for the American Cancer Society.

Survivors are her husband, LeMars; a son, Vincent of Long Beach, and a daughter, Mrs. Warren (Elaine) Mayer, Yankton; three grandchildren, Allen, Laurie and Russell Mayer, and brother, M.J. Lancaster of Seney.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister and two brothers.
