FREDERICK ERNST DIES AT SIOUX CITY

Frederick H. Ernst, 50, of Sioux City, died Wednesday of a heart attack while in an ambulance on the way to a hospital.

Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Anderson’s funeral chapel, with Rev. E.W. Stimson officiating. Burial was in Logan Park Cemetery.

Mr. Ernst was born February 22, 1887, in Sioux City. He was employed the past 10 years as an engineer by the city water department.

Mr Ernst served in the 168th Machine Gun corps of the Rainbow division and was active in veterans’ organizations.

Surviving are his widow; two sons, Albert and Frederick Jr.; four daughters, Dorothy, Beatrice, and twins, Doretta and Lillian, all of Sioux City; four brothers, William, Norris, Walter and Clarence, all residing west of Hinton.
