William Buethner

William Herman Buethner, Gray Eagle, Minn., died Friday, August 24, at the home of his sister, Mrs. A. F. Zenk. He had been sick last May, but seemed to have recovered, and was apparently in good health.

William Buethner was born September 24, 1889, in Douglas County, Minnesota. He had lived in Ottertail County, Minn., and at Hillsboro, North Dakota, later returning to Mora, Minnesota. For the past several years he has been living at Gray Eagle, Minnesota. He was a retired farmer.

He is survived by a brother, August of Marietta, Minn., 4 sisters, Mrs. Mary Schmidt, Minto , N. D., Mrs. Anna Elisa Zenk, Brunsville, Mrs. Olga Erlichmann, Gray Eagle, and Mrs. Elma Klopmeier, Miles City, Montana.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two infant brothers.

Since the death of his mother last winter, he has been visiting with his brother and sisters and had arrived for an extended visit with his sister and brother-in-law, Rev. and Mrs. A. F. Zenk of Brunsville, the afternoon before he passed away.
