Mrs. Valentine Trometer died at her home in Liberty township on Monday, Jane 13, 1904, at 12 o'clock. The deceased has been a sufferer from catarrh of the stomach for the past nine years, but nothing could be done to relieve her of her suffering.

Services will be held at the home on Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock and the remains laid to rest In the Merrill cemetery.

She leaves a husband and four children to mourn her toss. The friends and neighbors of the bereaved family sympathize with them in this their time of sorrow.

Mrs. Valentine Trometer died Monday morning a home near Ellendale after nine years struggling against the ravages of consumption.

Mrs. Valentino Trometer's maiden name was Sophia Meyers born in Harrison County, Iowa, about thirty-eight years ago. She was married to Valentine Trometer about 18 years ago. The funeral services were conducted at the family home Wednesday morning by Rev. Karl Kanp, pastor of the Melbourne United Evangelical church. Interment was made in the Merrill cemetery. She leaves a husband and four children, the youngest about 10 years old.
